I AM A WRITER AND UNTIL NOW I HAVE PUBLISHED THREE BOOKS (I HAVE 5 MORE WAITING FOR PRINTING)

  • Book 1 “TEACH YOURSELF ENGLISH FOR UNDERGRADUATES- undergraduates English grammar course level 3 for all training systems, 320 pages, A4, level 3 (English-Bulgarian students textbook with transcript) published (first edition was published in 2020 and second edition was published in 2021).  Teach Yourself English for Undergraduates (Bulgarian transcription) book is a basic course in English - phonetics, morphology, syntax and elementary vocabulary. In it are given phonetics, grammatical, lexical and excerpts from artistic literature. Teach Yourself English for Undergraduates (Bulgarian transcription) Teach yourself book - a tutorial course is intended for all students studying English up to Level 3. (This is textbook for undergraduates studying English.)

  • Book 2 “ENGLISH-BULGARIAN AND BULGARIAN-ENGLISH PHRASEBOOK” 230 pages, A4 (English and Bulgarian transcription). This phrasebook is a collection of ready-made phrases, English-Bulgarian and Bulgarian-English languages along with a translation and transcription in both languages. The phrasebook English-Bulgarian and Bulgarian-English languages is in the form of questions and answers and day to day situations. For example: at the restaurant, in the car service, in the store, in the cinema, at the doctors, at the customs etc. (This is textbook for undergraduates studying English.)

  • Book 3 “ENGLISH-BULGARIAN AND BULGARIAN-ENGLISH EXTENSIVE VOCABULARY” (English and Bulgarian transcription), A4, (currently is printing). In this Dictionary I am focus on lexicography and the aspects of bilingual dictionaries and related to the developments in linguistics including phonology, syntactic theory, the lexical approach, and corpus linguistics. All of these developments have slowly found their way into ESOL (English for Speakers of other languages) lexicography. So, I can assert that as lexicographer I have carried out my task in professional manner to produce different types of dictionaries (monolingual and bilingual). In my personal opinion, Syllabus designers as well as English language teachers have to incorporate these dictionaries in their work, so that dictionaries can be seen as effective and integrative educational tools in language education. In my point of view the dictionary should be consulted not for looking up the meaning only – as this is the general belief about dictionaries – but it would rather be seen as an authoritative source of language, as it can almost tell the user with every detail about other language aspects in addition to the meaning. I believe that any kind of dictionaries should be seen as the first pedagogical aid which the teacher should keep company in his teaching routine, as well as it should be a good resort for the leaner as an authenticated learning source of linguistic knowledge. (Bilingual dictionary with two different symbols transcript for Bulgarian and British students.)

HOBBYS AND INTERESTS

We are always learning, every day. Whether we are aware of it or not, we’re cut out to be lifelong learners. My native language is Bulgarian. When I was 7 years old, learning languages became my hobby and passion. Age of seventeen year old I was three lingual and age of thirty I become polyglot. Then I did not know that one day my hobby would become my future profession and something I will work on for the rest of my life.

I thinks that multilingualism is first and foremost a hobby. In my opinion, learning languages is very, very interesting, because every language gives you an opportunity to learn a lot of new things, and not only about this language itself but also about the related countries and cultures. This knowledge is a real treasure in terms of your personal development. Besides, we live in a time when our communication possibilities have expanded greatly. For instance, today we can use Vibre, Skype, WhatsApp, Messenger or other similar software to make video calls to any place on the planet, and if you happen to speak a lot of languages, then it is, of course, easier to form and maintain relations with interesting people. Some people think that the language you speak defines your manner of thinking and forms your mind-set. I don't think a language influences our way of thinking in any way. So this is not the question of language, it's a question of culture. It's the culture that determines everything. I speak 6 languages and can think in English, Bulgarian, Macedonian, Serbian, Greek or Russian with the same result, but when I learn a foreign language i first learn a foreign culture because the language is built on the culture believe and so it enlarges my consciousness.  I also learn and hence acquire new ways of thinking. And that is why a person who speaks several languages becomes much more flexible and open-minded.

So I think that multilingualism is, above all else, a hobby. A very useful one but still a hobby. This is my hobby, while someone else may have a different one. I am very lucky that this what was my hobby become my profession and work. I love this. When you work what you love time stops and everything happens like in the world of fairies. The time passed just for 5 minutes.

When you work this what you love you can turn impossible into possible but only with very much love and persistency.

Also in my spare time I also love to cook. I would not call myself a master of cooking, but my family and friends valued me as very good cook.  I am always looking for new recipes and new techniques to try out, which is so easy to do these days thanks to the Internet and my bread maker and my cooker machines. I really like keeping my family and friends guessing what the next masterpiece will be.
